I thought that Jacqueline was an excellent facilitator. She presented the information very clearly, and gave good reasons as to why the information was important. There was also a nice casual nature to the way she presented, of course the information was concise and well structured it was balanced by her friendliness and openness about the topic, and her person anecdotes really gave a fuller picture of the message she was getting across.

  • Many counsellors do not feel confident adapting their counselling practices to suit the need of Autistic adults. This is an underserviced population in the counselling space, with a lot of focus existing on the needs of Autistic children and/or with a very deficit approach. This has led to Autistic adults experiencing ineffective or even harmful treatments.
