Mission
NDATS exists to promote a neurodiversity affirming understanding of Autism and ADHD in adulthood — not as deficits to be fixed, but as valid ways of being.
This is done through:
By working directly with Autistic adults and their partners to build deep, individualised understanding of what it means to be Autistic — beyond stereotypes, beyond pathology. I support people to live in ways that are sustainable, safe, and aligned with their needs, not someone else’s expectations.
By training and supervising professionals — including counsellors, psychologists, psychotherapists, and allied health workers — who want to do better by their Autistic clients. Research shows many professionals still lack foundational knowledge about Autism, hold outdated or pathologising views, or simply don’t know how to adapt their practice. That burden should never fall on Autistic clients.
I strongly encourage all professionals working with Autistic people to seek out Autistic-led, neurodiversity affirming training.
