Counselling Autistic Adults – Part 3 is a neurodiversity-affirming workshop that explores the emotional and systemic impact of adult autism diagnosis—including grief, identity reconstruction, and burnout.

Designed for therapists working with late-diagnosed Autistic adults, it offers practical strategies for supporting clients through pre-diagnosis uncertainty, post-diagnosis adjustment, and the development of an authentic Autistic identity. Includes reflective tools, lived experience insights, and psychoeducation on diagnostic barriers and burnout cycles.

You’ll receive a copy of the slides and a printable resource that focuses on translating the DSM-5 autism criteria into neurodiversity-affirming language, helping therapists support late-diagnosed Autistic adults. It includes real-world examples, reflective prompts, and guidance on assessment pathways, making it an ideal psychoeducation tool for use in therapy. You will also receive a certificate of completion (eligible for PACFA and ACA OPD points).

Includes
1 × 120 minute workshop
