Actually Autistic Canberra
Connection in the Autistic community can look really different. There is no expectation to mask. We share lived experiences and often have common struggles. We communicate in our own ways, too; many of us despise small talk. We express interest with depth and intensity, and empathy often shows up in our relating to our own lived experience.
There is something deeply healing about being with your neurokin
Actually Autistic Canberra is an Autistic‑only, low‑demand, in‑person space for shared support and connection. It’s a peer connection group led by an Autistic therapist, created specifically for Autistic adults to spend time together.
We welcome Autistic adults who are self‑diagnosed, recently diagnosed, or further along in their autism journey.
The group next meets on:
July 14th 2026
6:30-8pm
Please note: this space is for Autistic adults only and is not open to parents, partners, carers, or professionals attending in a support role.
